Online University

Tactical Communications has been taught in a classroom setting since 1983, but we realize not eveyone can attend a live event.

We'd love to offer each of our programs in every major city on a regular basis, so more people could benefit from Verbal Judo, but that's just not possible.

Therefore, several years ago we start experimenting with online training and, after some initial stumbles, we've had great success.

Our online courses include readings, videos, discussions, chats with Doc Thompson and various forms of assessment -- all which can be completed at the student's own pace.

Courses are offered through our own Online University and through our partnership with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

Currently, the following programs are offered:

  • Verbal Judo Basic For Public Safety Professionals
  • Verbal Judo Basic For Educators
  • Verbal Judo Basic For the General Public
  • Verbal Judo Instructor Recertification

We plan to offer more online programs in the future.

Our goal -- via these online courses, along with our live training events, digital media products, and books -- is to make Verbal Judo training available to people from all walks of life who deal with others and are subject to verbal confrontation.
